1.5lbs of Deveined Shrimp with Tails Removed
75g Green Onion
75g Fresh Red Pepper
10g Parsley
2 Cloves Minced Garlic
28g Panko
3 Big Pinches Sea Salt
1 Big Pinch Black Pepper
Ingredients for Bang Bang Sauce: (only used 1/5th of this per burger)
113g Plain Non Fat Greek Yogurt
28g Honey
15g Sriracha
4g Rice Vinegar
Rest of Ingredients for one burger:
28g Avocado
Brioche Bun
Directions:
1.) First mince your shrimp with your knife. You could just use your food processor if you want but the consistency of the burger is much better if you take your time and just do it with your knife.
2.) Once you have a mince like consistency, add your green onion, red pepper, parsley, garlic, panko, sea salt, and pepper. Mix it all together and then form into 4 equal sized burgers.
3.) Now it’s time to make the bang bang sauce. Add all your ingredients to your bowl and mix. That’s it!
4.) Preheat your stove top pan on a 7/10 heat and spray with non stick cooking spray. Add your shrimp burger to the pan and then use your cast iron burger press to press it down. Cook on that side for about 3-4 minutes or until a nice crust has formed.
5.) Flip burger, add burger press back on top and cook on that side for another 3-4 minutes. Repeat this process for all your burgers.
6.) Build your burger with a toasted brioche bun, bang bang sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onion, your shrimp burger, avocado and then your top bun. Then it’s time to enjoy!
