Ingredients:
1 Medium Russet Potato (about 200g)
Non Stick Cooking Spray (I used Butter Spray)
16oz 96/4 Lean Ground Beef
42g 2% Colby Jack Cheese
Sea Salt
Garlic Powder
20g Yellow Mustard
Directions:
1.) Cut your russet potato into crinkle cut fries. Add to a bowl of cold ice water to soak for 15-20 minutes. This will be important with getting them crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.
2.) Once done with the soak, drain the water and then add the fries to a towel to pat them as dry as you can get them. Add them to a bowl and spray with non-stick cooking spray and then season with sea salt and garlic powder. Toss a few times to combine.
3.) Add the fries to your air fryer at 400 degrees F for 18 minutes. Toss every 6 minutes to make sure they cook evenly.
4.) While your fries are cooking, add your 96/4 lean ground beef to your stove top pan preheated on a 7/10 heat. Break it up into crumbles and once you start to see some browning, season with sea salt, garlic powder and yellow mustard. You won’t taste the yellow mustard I promise! It helps with keeping the ground beef juicy! Once your ground beef is fully browned, add your colby jack cheese and mix it all.
5.) Now it’s time to put together the loaded fries. I put mine together in a 6.5in cast iron skillet but you can just use a plate. Add your fries, then your cheesy ground beef and lastly some parsley on top! I added ketchup to each bite but you can add it on top! Enjoy!
