394 Cal Sausage, Egg Whites & Cheese Protein McGriddles

Ingredients

✳️ Ingredients for McGriddle Cakes (makes 4)
40g All Purpose Flour
30g Vanilla Whey/Casein Blend Protein Powder (I use my brand aka @flex_brands aka the best protein for recipes in the game! “FDL” saves you 15%!)
8g Coconut Flour
4g Zero Cal Sweetener
3g Baking Powder
Pinch of Salt
100g Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
50g Egg Whites
20g Sugar Free Pancake Syrup

✳️ Rest of Ingredients for McGriddles:
150g Egg Whites
6oz Turkey Sausage
2 Slice 2% American Cheese

Directions

❇️ Directions:
1️⃣ Add all your dry McGriddles cakes ingredients into a bowl and mix to avoid clumping. Then add your wet ingredients and mix till you have a pancake batter like consistency.
2️⃣ Preheat your stovetop pan to a 6/10 heat. Once preheated, spray the bottoms of your silicone circle molds with non stick cooking spray and then flip over and add to the pan. Then add 1/4th your pancake batter to each one. Add a cover on top and cook till you see bubbles coming out the top of the cakes. Then take off molds and then flip. Cook for another minute or so on that side.
3️⃣ Once all your cakes are done, use those same silicone circle to cook your egg whites patties. Do the same process of spray the bottom of the molds but this time. Let them sit on the pan a bit to help them get really hot on the bottom so the egg white do not spill out. Add 75g of egg whites to each one along with a pinch of sea salt. Add a cover on top of the pan and cook till no longer liquidy on top.
4️⃣ Lastly, cook your turkey sausage patties on the same pan. Then it’s time to put together the McGriddles and enjoy! Protip is to brush some pancake syrup underneath the top pancake for that extra sweet savory flavor!
