Grilled Cheese Burger

Grilled Cheese Burger (510 Cals)

Ingredients

Ingredients:
4 Slices of Bread of your choice (I used White Butterbread)
3 Slices Fat-Free American Cheese
14g Light Shredded Mozzarella
5oz 96/4 Lean Ground Beef
1 Slice Uncured Bacon
1 Large Egg
Sea Salt
Garlic Powder

Directions

1.) Directions are going to be based on if we have 1 medium to large size pan. I want you to have all the components of this burger prepped so you can time it perfectly and not have one component waiting on another.

2.) So first, you are going to prep your grilled cheese buns. So take your 4 slices of bread and slice into a circle with a pizza cutter. Then once all 4 are done, add those slices to your scale to see what they weigh because they will be lighter and each slice cannot be considered as one. I weighed mine and they came out to 65g. So each slice on the nutritional label weighs 26g so I divide 65 by 26 to get 2.5 slices of bread.

3.) Now, preheat your stove top pan to 6/10 heat. Take your 5oz ground beef and season with some sea salt and garlic powder. Mix that in and then form into a burger patty. Add your slice of bacon onto your stovetop pan. Once that start to give off bacon grease, add your burger into that. Creates unreal flavor. Flip bacon after 2-3 minutes on pan. Flip burger once you see the sides of the burger starting to brown.

4.) Bring pan down to a 4/10 heat. Take off bacon and add to a paper towel to help it crisp up. Now add 7g mozzarella and 1 slice fat-free cheese to your two bottom slices of the grilled cheese. Don’t add the top pieces of bread yet. Add those to your stovetop pan to let the cheese melt before adding the top slices on.

5.) Now crack your whole egg on to the pan, add a slice of cheese on top of your burger and add a cover on top of the pan. Be careful not to burn your grilled cheeses! Add top pieces of bread and flip those over. Only add cover back on if the outside whites of the egg are still liquidy.

6.) Once all the components are done, build the burger, and enjoy!
