Macros per 5 Nuggets:
93 Cals, 0g Carbs, 1.5g Fat, 20g Protein
Ingredients (makes about 50 Nuggets):
2lbs Chicken Breast
1 Cup (227g) Pickle Juice
½ Cup (113g) Unsweetened Almond Milk
Sea Salt
Black Pepper
Garlic Powder
Paprika
2g Zero Cal Sweetener
*Added ½ fat per serving for the cooking spray
Directions:
1.) Slice your chicken breast into about 50 nuggets. These are a bit bigger than the Chick Fil A but you can make them smaller if you’d like. Just cut down the cooking time a bit.
2.) Next is to make the pickle brine aka what gives Chick Fil A chicken that distinct flavor. Add to a large bowl your pickle juice and almond milk (can sub milk of your choice). Mix together and then add your chicken nuggets to the bowl to marinate for at least an hour.
3.) Then take the nuggets from the bowl and pat somewhat dry so seasoning will hold. Add nuggets to a bowl and season with your sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika and zero cal sweetener. Don’t be shy with these (except for sweetener. Use exact amount).
4.) Add to your air fryer and spray tops with non stick cooking spray. Air fry (doesn’t need to be pre heated) on 360 degrees F for 9 minutes. Repeat for all your nuggets and then enjoy!
