Why You’ll Love This Cookies and Cream Ninja Creami Recipe

Easy to Modify Based on Dietary Needs

Cookies and cream ice cream in Ninja Creami machines are easy to make with any dietary preference. Here;s how:

Milks: You can use almond milk or any dairy-free milk alternative. This recipe uses Fairlife milk which is lactose-free.

If you decide to use almond milk, specifically a brand that contains 50 calories or less per cup, the final ice cream will be less creamy, because of the high water content.

Protein Powder: Substituting with a vegan protein can suck, but not if you use the ones we’ve created.

You can substitute using a 1:1 ratio (e.g. If 30g protein powder is in the recipe, substitute with 30g vegan protein powder).

Cookie Butter: Just like you can substitute regular protein powder with vegan protein powder, you can do the same with cookie butter! If you want the best vegan products in the game, my vegan cookie butters are insane. It’s literally a diet saver if you are lactose intolerant. I highly recommend starting with Brownie Batter and Blueberry Pastry cookie butters for this cookies and cream ice cream in Ninja Creami recipe.

And if you do not have cookie butter, I’d recommend just substituting with powdered peanut butter. It won’t be the same but it’ll be close enough.

Ninja Creami Cookies and Cream Recipe: Ingredients, Instructions, and Tips for Making it Your Own

Core Ingredients for a Perfect Creami Base

  • 240g Fairlife Fat Free Milk
  • 240g Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
  • 30g Flex Vanilla Whey/Casein Blend Protein Powder
  • 8g Sugar Free/Fat Free White Chocolate Pudding Mix
  • 5g Zero Cal Sweetener of your choice
  • Pinch of Sea Salt

Mix-Ins:

  • 4 OREO Thins

Step-by-Step Instructions for a Creamy, Scoopable Result

  1. Add all the ingredients (except the Oreos) into a pint. Use a small hand blender and mix until smooth.
  2. Place the pint in the freezer until it is frozen. I freeze mine the day before so it can freeze overnight.
  3. Once it is frozen, add it to your creami holster and press the “Lite Ice Cream” function. One time should be enough.
  4. If you want to add mix-ins, make a hole in the middle of the ice cream and add in the OREO thins.
  5. Place the holster back on the creami and press the mix-ins function. Enjoy!

Pro Tip:

  • Grab 6 extra pints to prep a whole week’s worth of ice cream all at once!
  • Make sure to thaw out the edges of the pint before spinning it by running it under warm water for 60 seconds.
  • If there is a dry crumbly consistency after running it through the first time, add a splash of milk before doing a re-spin. This usually doesn’t happen to me, but it does happen to a lot of you.
  • Your protein powder matters a TON because it’s a huge part of the recipe. The taste and the consistency will largely depend on this. It’s why I created flex_brands, aka the best protein for recipes.

Tips to Personalize and Perfect the Texture

The difference for each one is based on the time and speed of the blade. I normally use the “Ice Cream”, “Lite Ice Cream”, and “Sorbet” functions.

Perform the “Ice Cream” function if you want a dense ice cream rather than a lighter soft serve style consistency.

This setting is only 60 seconds in duration because the blade speed is lower. This allows for a denser end product due to less air being whipped into it. Once the function is done, you can assess and see if it’s the consistency you want.

I recommend running it only once,  especially if you are doing mix-ins. This is because it will start to melt.

Why is My Ninja Cream Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Still so Crumbly?

Perform the “Lite Ice Cream” function one time. It’ll be dry and a little crumbly-looking. Do a re-spin and it’ll be perfect after that.
