Air Fryer Protein Mac & Cheese

392 Cal Air Fryer Protein Mac & Cheese

Ingredients

Ingredients (makes 1):

56g Macaroni of your choice

120g Water

120g Fairlife Fat Free Milk

15g Yellow Mustard (you won’t taste it)

10g All Purpose Flour

5g Nutritional Yeast

Pinch of Sea Salt

28g 2% Colby Jack Cheese

14g Light Mozzarella (Trader Joe’s Brand)

Directions

1.) Add your macaroni, water, milk, and yellow mustard into a bowl. Mix to combine.

2.) Then add your all purpose flour, nutritional yeast, sea salt, 21g of your colby jack cheese and 10g of your light mozzarella. You want to save some of the cheese for later.

3.) Once all that is mixed, add to your 6.5in cast iron skillet. These are a game changer for anything air fryer so I highly recommend getting one.

4.) Carefully add to your air fryer and air fry on 360 degrees F for 20 minutes.

5.) After 8 minutes, take out and mix it around with a spoon to ensure it doesn’t burn. Add back to air fryer.

6.) Then with about 5 minutes left, take out again and mix. Then add the rest of your cheese back on top. Add back to air fryer for the remaining 5 minutes.

7.) Then after that 5 minutes, it’s mac & cheese time! I love to add some extra protein like some cooked chicken or ground beef! Enjoy!
