Macros for per Nugget:
36 Cal, 2.5g Carbs, 1g Fat, 4.25g Protein
Ingredients:
16oz Fresh Sockeye Salmon
30g All Purpose Flour
25g Egg Whites
1 Large Egg
50g Panko
Seasonings to add to Flour and Panko Stations (don’t be shy with these!)
Sea Salt
Garlic Powder
Black Pepper
Chili Powder
Onion Powder
Paprika
Directions:
1.) Slice your Salmon into Nuggets (I ended up with 25 nuggets).
2.) Make your 3 stations aka flour + seasonings station, egg/egg whites station and panko + seasoning station.
3.) Use the left hand/right hand technique to avoid your hands becoming a clumpy mess. Left hand for the dry (flour and panko stations) and right hand for the wet aka the egg station.
4.) So take a salmon nugget with your left hand and add to the flour station. Cover well. Then add to the egg station and coat in egg with your right hand. Then add to the panko station and coat well with you right now. Repeat this for all 25 nuggets.
5.) Add to your air fryer and spray the nuggets with non-stick cooking spray. Air fry on 360 degrees F for 10 minutes flipping at the 6 minute mark.
6.) Repeat this process for all your nuggets and then it’s time to enjoy!
