270 Cal Big Mac Chalupas

Ingredients

Ingredients for Low Cal Big Mac Sauce:

170g Plain Non Fat Greek Yogurt

113g 2% Cottage Cheese

65g Sugar Free Ketchup

25g Dijon Mustard

20g Pickle Juice (from jar)

4g Nutritional Yeast

2g Paprika

1g Sea Salt

1g Black Pepper

 

Rest of Ingredients (makes 1 Chalupa so just scale up if you want to make more):

1 Josephs Pita

4oz 96/4 Lean Ground Beef (weighed raw)

Pinch of Sea Salt/Garlic Powder

5g Yellow Mustard

14g 2% Colby Jack Cheese

1.5 Slices Roma Tomato

4 Pieces of Red Onion

3 Pickle Slices

Tiny Handful of Lettuce

32g Homemade Big Mac Sauce

 

*The video shows me making 4 chalupas but ingredients above make it easier to follow for just one chalupa.

Directions

1.) First up, the low cal big mac sauce. Add all your sauce ingredients into a small blender and blend till smooth. Add to the fridge.

2.) Now preheat your pan to a 7/10 heat. Form your 96/4 lean ground beef into 4oz patties.

3.) Add burgers to the pan once preheated and then season tops with a pinch of sea salt, garlic powder and then the secret ingredient.. Yellow mustard! This helps the burgers stay nice and juicy. I promise you won’t taste it!

4.) Cook them on that side for 3-4 minutes or until a nice crust has formed on the bottom. Then flip and cook on that side for 1-2 minutes. Then chop up into smaller pieces.

5.) Add your 14g Colby Jack Cheese to each 4oz pile of ground beef. Add a cover on top of the pan and melt the cheese.
