Spicy Cajun Fries

227 Cal Spicy Cajun Fries

Ingredients

Ingredients for French Fries:

250g Russet Potato

Non Stick Butter Cooking Spray

Ingredients for Cajun Seasoning Mix:

Equal parts:

Sea Salt

Black Pepper

Garlic Powder

Onion Powder

Dried Oregano

Paprika

Cayenne (if you don’t want it as spicy, don’t do equal parts of this)

Directions

Directions:

1.) Slice your potatoes into fries about 1/4th of an inch thick.

2.) Add to a cold water bath aka a bowl with ice cold water. Soak for at least 30 minutes.

3.) Then drain water out of the bowl and dry off the fries on a towel. The more dry you get them, the better they’ll be.

4.) Then spray with non stick butter spray. I did 3 sprays and tossed in between each spray to coat them evenly.

5.) Toss in your seasoning mixture and add to your air fryer on 400 degrees F for 19 minutes. Shake around the fries every 6 minutes or so to make sure they cook evenly.

6.) Then once done, serve with your sauce of choice and enjoy! Ideally, pair this with a protein source to get a balanced macronutrient profile meal!
